Missing the Pumkin Party

Can you believe it October is almost over . I am very sad I will miss the pumpkin carving party . I look farward to it .I want to get back to carvingmy grand children in my pumkins again . I will miss my family on that day but i made a promise so I will stick to it . I will not miss another one .

The ave.of Flags

The Avenue of Flags displays a collection of almost 700 flags!Visitors can walk through the cemetery and view the large collection of flags and attend a Memorial Ceremony which attracts many of our City's veterans. Allison Came over today ,she picked up some movies and we visited .I love when she comes over .she was putting in the living room .Ross and her were taking turns .She helped me cook we make potato salad and beans to go with the Bar b que Pop pa cooked . It was all great .She and I went to the store .It sure is nice when a teenager takes time out to be with their grand parents . I have been packing to leave town with Beth today she going out of town to work .I like to be that smiling face she get to come home to ,I worry when she is not close to us .I thought I had mu stuff together but I keep adding to it . lol Looks like i will be gone for a month heehehehe.

Jan.5 .It is a cold morning with frost on the ground .

The night before Christmas

Here i am with Santa telling him all the things I want for Christmas . I sure have been sitting on his knee for a lot of years . Now it is Christmas eve and I am thinking of all the things i got through the years the toys I loved and the toys that didn,t last . I remember the bikes i got my favorite was a blue one. and a doll I kept till my girls came along and got to play with her .lol by than she was missing a few toes but they loved that doll also . I got an electric organ and all I ever learned to play was Are you Sleeping Brother John .Best of all was wathing my girls grow up ans seeing their faces when Santa came by our house and left toys .Now it is the joy of watching grand children open gifts .Merry Christmas to all . Thank you God for giving me a longer life .

My friend TooToo and a new friend Mary Jane came to visit . they never stay long enough. We has a Red Hat Queen's Meeting in Jennings .What a good time we had .
